Bio[]
Bingfen is a teacher to all, responsible for coordinating all kinds of duties for the whole of the Capital and the owner of Darcy[2], who can tame any "lunatic". People swallowed by Darcy will be forcefully calmed down by its juice and begin to regret the things they have done, and even start to blubber and sob, reducing them to a state that they would rather not remember. However, Bingfen can inspect the emotions of the swallowed people and soothe them. Darcy's birth was initially to compensate for Bingfen's loss of the sense of taste, but later it was discovered its juice can calm people in order to undergo healing.
Food Introduction[]
Bingfen, also known as ice jelly, originated in Pengshan, Sichuan and is widely liked in the Sichuan/Chongqing region. The "bingfen tree", known by its scientific name Nicandra physalodes, is also called "Da Qian Sheng" (literally Great Thousand Life and which we've Westernized as "Darcy"). The plant originated in Peru and is also grown in the Sichuan/Chongqing region, and it is from this plant that bingfen was born. It has a cool, refreshing, and sweet flavor. It is soft and slick, good for cooling the body down. It is a well-loved summertime snack.
