The necklace was twirled around Spaghetti's fingertips. Stargazy Pie sat to one side, looking at the fine silver chain in his hands.
Stargazy Pie	Spaghetti? Where did you get that necklace?
Spaghetti	This was a princess's favorite necklace, given to her by her mother. It's also a protective amulet. Do you like it?
Stargazy Pie	I do! The ruby is beautiful. It would match perfectly with the crown you gave me.
Spaghetti	Shall I put it on you, then?
To Spaghetti's surprise, Stargazy Pie shook her head. She pulled out the necklace with the Bluestone inlay that was hanging around her neck, and revealed a sparkling smile.
Stargazy Pie	I already got a necklace from Spaghetti! I'll go and put this new one in the collection room!
Looking at Stargazy Pie's brilliant smile, Spaghetti's mind wandered. Her soft touch upon his cheek startled him back to reality. As he watched her bounce cheerfully off to put the necklace in the collection room, Borscht popped a piece of cake into her mouth, unconcerned.
Borscht	Now that I think of it, why did you give Stargazy Pie such a fine necklace, while you only give us some rough and ragged stones? Isn't that a bit partial?
Spaghetti	Oh, did you find someone you like? I'll find a good craftsman and have your ragged stones polished up to serve as a dowry, how's that?
Borscht	Forget it, I don't want anything from you.
Borscht didn't actually mind the ridicule in Spaghetti's voice. She stood up and swept her fingertips over the place on Spaghetti's cheek where Stargazy Pie had kissed him.
Borscht	You were moved by a kiss from your well-behaved little girl? Is that right, Mr. Spaghetti~
Spaghetti	If you all spared me worry like she does, then I'd be even more moved, Ms. Borscht.
