Birds from the Garuda tribe were once legendary birds in folklore legends but have now transformed into fallen angels. They have exceptionally long wings and are usually active in groups. Migration occurs when there's insufficient prey near their nesting grounds which greatly affects the Palata ecology.
Parasitic Fallen Angels perched in Palata have adapted to the desert by storing water in their bodies. At the end of every season they migrate to the oceans to feed on fish. This phenomenon has been very detrimental to people.
