Tiger salad is a cold dish originating in the northeast of China and consisting of pepper, green onion, cilantro, and cucumber seasoned with sesame oil, soy sauce, MSG, and salt. According to personal preference, one could also add onion, papaya, cabbage, etc., and the method for making it is flexible.
