As a Food Soul "manufactured" by a special process in the Academy, Tomahawk Steak never paid much regard to the contracting binding him. To him, the pain of not being able to do things according to his wishes is harder to bear than the backlash of the contract. Be that as it may, for his comrades, he still decided to carry out that "mission" that the humans forced upon him. He may seem impulsive and belligerent, but his temperament is actually incredibly stable. He usually won't act rashly, and before his comrades, he even shows an extraordinarily childish side. Food Introduction[]
The tomahawk steak is named for the battle axes used by Native Americans, a symbol of power and freedom. The "axe handle" is a beef rib, and the "axe head" is a ribeye steak, which makes the whole cut of meat resemble a tomahawk axe. It originated with the Algonquins before catching on throughout the country. A proper tomahawk steak has strict requirements in terms of the cow's age, feed, and size, and a particular method must be used to cut the meat. Aside from that, its preparation can be quite particular too.
CN version: The word Tomahawk in the Indigenious people's tongue means "battle axe". It represents not only the axe used by the Indigenious people, but also strength and freedom. The "handle" is the cow's ribs and the "axe" is the ribeye. As such, the entirety of tomahawk steak resembles an axe. The dish gained prominence in parts of Australia firstly, before becoming widespread throughout the whole country. To get authentic tomahawk steak, the cow's age, seasonings, and measurements must adhere to strict standards. Moreover, a strict and unique cutting method must be applied. Other than that, one must be critical when it comes to cooking it too.
