Twice-Cooked Pork is a perfectionist with a calm and steady demeanor. He is highly skilled and capable, especially in the field of mechanical design. He was once rescued by Laziji, and then helped him to establish and operate his Capital city in a logical manner. Over time, the Capital became a safe haven for Food Souls.
Food Introduction[]
Twice-cooked pork is a typical Sichuanese home-style dish. In ancient times, it was called "oil-fried pork" ("You Bao Rou" (油爆肉, lit. Explosive oil meat)). The dish is quite salty, and chilies were added to the recipe during the Ming and Qing dynasties, after which the flavor stabilized for some time. At the end of the Qing, spiced soybeans were added, providing another textural element in the dish. The primary ingredient is pork butt, with added green pepper, garlic sprouts, and other ingredients. The final dish is fragrant, spicy, and oily-yet not greasy.
